This is the final article in our series on Roblox, and it is the most urgent.

We have discussed addiction and graphic content. Now we must talk about the people waiting for your children. Federal lawsuits and FBI reports confirm that Roblox is a primary hunting ground for sexual predators. The tactic is simple and devastating: a predator joins a game, befriends your child, and offers them "Robux" (virtual currency) or status. Once trust is established, they move the conversation to an encrypted app like Discord or Snapchat.

This is the "Predator Pipeline." Once off the platform, the grooming escalates to sextortion—coercing your child into sending explicit photos under threat of releasing their secrets.

We know parenting is exhausting. It is easier to hand a child an iPad than to fight the battle of boredom. But we must ask: How much do you value your child’s safety?

Roblox’s own CEO has admitted that if you are not comfortable with the risks, you should not let your child on the platform. Yet, many parents rely on "safety settings" that a tech-savvy 10-year-old can disable in seconds.

Your Options:

#1 The Safe Choice: Delete Roblox accounts from your child’s devices. Make device usage contingent upon staying off Roblox sites, and do not provide funds. YOU bought the device, so YOU OWN the device. This is the only way to guarantee 100% safety.

#2 The Hard Choice: If you cannot or will not delete it, you must make the time to parent this activity. You cannot rely on ANY school’s network blockers. You must install aggressive monitoring software (like Bark or Qustodio) on the device itself, auditable by you daily.

The responsibility is yours, and the choice is yours. The safety of your child depends on it.
